Asian News Editor

Ferrago Ltd currently has an opening for an obsessive-complusive news hound, preferably based out of Asia-Pacific. Ideally, you'll have experience penning vast amounts of gaming news, on a frequent basis, for a well-read blog or games website.

As our new part-time Asian News Editor, your duties will see you thrashing out vast quantities of news coverage while our London team rest their weary eye-lids. You'll therefore have to be adept at working under your own initiative, sourcing important news stories rapidly and publishing them quickly in a snappy and entertaining manner.

Speed is crucial, but in addition to haste you'll cover the latest news with accuracy, style and humour - and with impartiality, despite the free drinks PRs may or may not ply you with (they probably will).

While this position is a part-time role, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to play an important part in our rapidly growing business, which includes consumer games websites Play.tm (as well as Play.tm Japan) and Jolt.co.uk, in addition to content clients Playboy and Bauer Media.

Previous Ferrago Ltd writers have gone on to work for publications including Wired and MCV, not to mention big games developers like Real Time Worlds, while you'll enjoy being part of an energetic and fun-loving team, enjoying perks such as free gaming goodies, events and the odd party, too.

Ferrago Ltd doesn't discriminate and welcomes applications from all suitable candidates (even those who thought the official Transformers game was 'okay'). Agencies need not correspond on this occasion.

Resumes and covering letters should be sent to jobs@ferrago.ltd.uk
